Three team cars returned to the paddock on the back of a recovery vehicle leaving the team with masses of work to do with a very small window of opportunity before race two.
The crew worked tirelessly and were successful in getting Ross’ and Jack’s cars out for race two.
Mike was unfortunately not so lucky and was a gentleman in acknowledging how hard the crew worked in their attempts to get all three cars out. Jack’s MT09 gremlins returned resulting in a DNF in race two.

Oli Schlup put on a display of talent in race two, battling hard with the guest driver from America but was pipped at the post by a last minute manoeuvre from the American on the final lap. It was a fantastic race to watch!
Going into the final race of the weekend, the Elite Championship title had been provisionally claimed by Tyler Read following his run of success in earlier races. Oli started the race with a battle for second place in the Elite Championship but the brake failure returned in the final few laps leaving him with a DNF but sufficient points in the Elite Cup Championship to award him 3rd place overall.

Congratulations to Tyler Read on his Elite Cup Championship and also to his team on their achievement.
